I want to see a massive improvement in member communication with the club - multiple member forums (both online and in person), board members and senior execs engaging regularly with members (not just their favoured few), and meaningful footy analysis from the footy department. Frankly, Sandy Ferguson's epithet ("Embrace Hawthorn and it will embrace you") is a bit of a joke right now. If the Club would show a bit more love for the members who love it, it would truly become a destination club, on and off the field.

No problem on field it will come together under the direction of Sam Mitchell. It is the Administration that we need to get right. A must to have a strong coordinated Administration 1st and foremost then the rest will follow. New blood new ideas is paramount. Andy Gowers will bring that under his Presidency.

I would like Jeff Kennett to stop trying to run the board by proxy via his mates. He needs to accept that he has had his time, he and his buddies are not the only ones with valuable things to offer the club, and his legacy is being tarnished by his behaviour. The way in which Clarko was treated was poor and very expensive for the club. Dingley is a problem project though I remain hopeful this ambitious project can be delivered. The forthcoming loss of revenue from Tasmania presents an additional challenge (although it will be nice to see a few more games in Melbourne). Hawthorn is not a mess but it can improved in various ways eg better engagement with members during a period when we are going to see a lot of losses. I could go on, but I won't.

It will be nice when we can get the election and the cultural review finalised. The sooner we can hear about preseason training and the arrival of the new draftees the better. I am very confident that the Sam Mitchell direction will pay handsome dividends!!

Hawthorns priorities are

1 Financial stability

2 Manage the outcome of the AFL investigation

3 Dingley

4 If they are going to investigate something then manage the outcome and the expectation - grow a set of balls!

Personally, I want to thank all the HI team on the collective efforts of every contributor providing clearly the best content on all things HFC hands down. Every contribution is compulsive reading and listening. I think the yearly subscription fee is more than value for money. I always feel compelled to contribute more funds because the extra work and time spent creating content consumes a lot of unpaid (research) effort and time (away from family and commitments). So, thank you for providing such an outstanding and much loved outlet for the supporters of this mighty club. Keep up the high energy and enthusiasm and you will earn a very happy and satisfied subscriber for life!

Time to get out of Tasmania so we can have more home games and give value to our members.

The Tassie option is a lazy option to raise money. It costs us Victorian members because 7 home games is a joke. Replacement games are games we would go to anyway so it is not a replacement its just less games that we can see live.

Its hard not to envy the deal Richmond or Collingwood members get

Thanks for the opp to feedback. I think you guys do a great job. Off field under Jeff worries me. Dingley is unfunded so commencing scares me. We have lost pokies money and will lose Tassie $$. We're in a risky situation. Jeff's leadership style is crash through, which at times is appropriate. However as we're playing with the club's financial future a more consensus, open approach is needed.

Too much woke politicisation and agendas being run by certain people against the current administration who have done a remarkably decent job in very tough times. The club remains in a strong position and should not succumb to the populist media driven zeitgeist and stay focussed on what Hawthorn has become great at - winning premierships. Stay the course Hawks.

A Club cannot win a Premiership without a highly competent Board with superior leadership qualities. We did once; but now compare unfavorably with the Boards of Richmond, Geelong, Sydney and Brisbane, as examples.

I enjoy your podcasts, but can I suggest that no-one is allowed to go on mute. The amount of time there is silence is frustrating. There are so many good podcasts out there, where the conversation flows because everyone is involved the whole time. Yours don't flow.

Thanks for the feedback Paul. It's appreciated. We're always trying to improve the experience for listeners, but sometimes Zoom is a necessity - we'd love to do more of these when we're all in the room.

Firstly I think the work of Hawks Insiders is great, best money i spend every year.

Maybe the club when it reviews is comms strategy it could think about using vehicles such as Hawks Insiders and Hawk Talk to engage with fans so that everything we hear is not straight from club spin doctors but rather has a fans perspective.

I dont like board member running strong political agendas while in office, i think that public political nuetrality while in key roles is a commitment that should be made. Fat chance though!

Financial stability is important - remember the merger. I wish somone would explain how Dingley is to be funded and whether all the money from the gambling venues will go into the future fund. It is smoke and mirrors at the moment.

Bravo to HI for another huge year (almost done). You lot are brilliant. Honestly felt very fortunate to have HI help process some of the hectic news in the last two years. So, genuine thanks. Great value for money.

PS Pre/post-game spaces would be cool but the other mob also do a pretty good job at that.

As far as the club is concerned, there needs to be member interaction such as surveys and feedback forums.

I feel like an outsider to a club I have been a member of for 37years and supported before our first premiership.

GRASS ROOTS UP, NOT MANAGEMENT DOWN.
