Weddle = 😩x100

Worpel = Should we play him “if” leaving or keep blooding Butler?

Sicily = Play only if 100% otherwise rest again, “far too important player”

Gunners = Rest with Caution……was on a roll until rested which BACKFIRED horribly & probs cost us a game, then he came back slow.

As for the finals, wins are irrelevant unless we can beat 1,2 or all of Freo, Pies & Lions. Sam always said we don’t want to make up the numbers.

Jay Clark = Who cares!!!!!

Weddle is arguably the player we could least afford to lose.

The range of forwards he can play on is unparallelled. For example, against Freo he could play on Bolton / Voss / Amiss and against Geelong it could be Dangerfield / Cameron. In addition, his versatility is unmatched - he's an outstanding defender, against the right opponent in the ruck, he is very dangerous and when forward is one of Champion Data's highest ranked players. Incredible for a player at his young age to have such a range. He also has match winning abilities - you could see him streaming forward at the MCG in a final, kicking several goals or swung forward late and turning a final. While we have a very good team with an even spread of quality, we do lack match winners, those players that can be so important in big games. We also lose leg speed, which is one of our weaknesses, and while his replacement will bring aerial and kicking capability, none can match Weddle's pace.

Unfortunately, Weddle is irreplaceable.

Love Weissy’s angle to play all games to win over next 3-4 weeks

Day, McCabe, Dear, Weddle all have had stress fractures in couple of years. Is this higher than AFL average I wonder? Seems a bit strange to me

Was in “ Tassie ” for the game flew down with some of the North boys ( about half the team ) late afternoon Friday, must do their travel differently. Maybe they are keeping the local North /South rivalry going !

Lots of Hawkers around the Town even until Monday afternoon those scarves stand out !

Ps still like a big country town ( we haven’t been for a few years)
