Andrew, Brad and Ethan ... what commitment to do a podcast straight after watching the game, so I fully commend you all and thank you so much as I'm sure all our HI members are appreciative being able to listen to your thoughts after such a fabulous start to our season and even better, no reason for "Angry Brad" woohoo!!!
I have a question for you Ethan as obviously you love your Hawks, but I'm interested to know, as you are still at school, if you would like to pursue a career in the AFL media space?
Andrew, it must be so great as a parent, to have Ethan involved in the HI and I'm sure you must be proud of your son especially as he is willing to also help out doing a great job at the panel show on Wednesday night.
And Brad, looking forward to your "selection dissection" this week in readiness for the game against Essendon on Friday night ...
And finally, it's also a long weekend here in Tassie and yes, I'm absolutely going to watch a reply of the game!!!
Hawks won their first game of the season - when is the last time that happened?
On the road against one of last year's grand finalists
And they won ugly
Not bad
The way Brad describes it the Swans were missing all their best players...he says 5 of their best but then names Gulden (yes) and Mills (no) - who hardly played in 2024 and then....mumble...mumble 😂
Beating Swans on their home deck in front of their crowd and with them having everything to prove is quite a significant milestone for this group.
Do we know Worps injury is that serious? He was walking on it, even if it is syndesmosis, it might be on the lower end of the scale like Wizard last year.

The way Brad is talking he has a grade 3 injury and will need surgery and is unlikely to play in 2025.
Unless he has that exclusively from people inside the club I think we should just wait and see what they say after the weekend
There’s been nothing out of the club, so right now it could be anything. The longer it goes without any news, the more nervous we should be imo.
Well done Ethan!
What a pro.
Everyone played their role well on this match recap.
