Ash, sending you a BIG THANK YOU for compiling this list and to Danny and Mick for providing some company for you to discuss it. Whilst I certainly know that you have the passion for this great Club Ash and enjoy writing these types of articles, it does not go unnoticed by me (and I'm sure by many of our HI community followers), the amount of time and effort that would have gone into this and is truly a remarkable thing that you've done. I'm sure that the HFC should use these articles to document and become part of our Club's history. I also feel that Hawthorn is indebted to the likes of yourself Ash, Peter Haby and Rachel of the Hawks Museum for example (and so many others behind the scenes), that have spent many hours volunteering to record the Club's history over the past 100 years for generations to come.
And Mick, on a side note, I too am in the generation who remember having to get up and change the channel on the TV so I found this comment quite funny!!!
