Our AFLW team choked in both finals. Other than the obvious short comings within the matches, a ruck opportunity to rush a point in the dying minutes of last arose, they kept it alive, Port goaled and took the lead. BAD MISTAKE…. They need gun defenders. TLR was fantastic off half back. Deflating loss but what a great year for the Hawks AFLW group.
Onwards & Upwards in the 100th year of HFC for both teams. They both gave us an amazing ride after years of sorrow. 🏆🏆
Port is definately the NEW Geelong. Beat both our teams “just”…… drafted Moraes (24) and Lorenz (23). Port are the scratch that can’t be itched…..
Losing to Port by 1 point (again!) in a final is painful but the women did very well and it sets up a great 2025 for the club
Mraz and Anderson look like solid pick-ups.

Anderson does look like he has some real speed but it's always tough to judge from the clips
You should try to get Scotty on.
It would be fascinating to get his take on why he's running at this time. He's not unfamiliar with the medium. He used to do a weekly pod with Sam Newman and Mike Sheahan and ofcourse he was in broadcasting in the 80s and 90s.

Hawks ended up taking Gunston in the PSD which puts him back on the primary list.
We have 38 on the primary list & 4 rookies (Blanck, Ramsden, Mitchell & Scaife), along with 2 Cat. B. rookies - Uhr-Henry & Hill.
