My 2c re Sam and Rushmore etc. So Kennedy sits at the top. He is the origin story. Where 63 years of success started. He gets credit for everything that follows.

As a player, Sam is not top tier but one of a lot of very good players even elite players that played in multiple premierships. The great ones don’t need individual medals it’s about their impact on the team success and culture. Hence why Matthews is so revered. I am old enough to have seen him play and he would still be my first pick in any team. Think Hodge but with goals lots of them.

So to get to the top Sam needs coaching premierships. Multiple for me. Doing it this year with this team is absolutely a game changer but then he needs at least 1-3 for his playing record to elevate him above Jeans and Clarkson.

I would have dunstall there. His playing record is great but he wasn’t Hudson. But his role as CEO to break the drought and reset the culture was as significant as Scott in avoiding the merger.

Mick's comment about the weather potentially influencing the game this Saturday may well carry portent. I have been nervous / disappointed with the scheduling of this game as a Tassie twilight affair and now see that the forecast is for a decent amount of precipitation in the afternoon. Let's hope we keep North to a very low score!

And well for addressing the RAP

RAP’s are about he club and broader community confronting our past to move forward. Many of the Facebook comments appear to reflect that there are still many supporters that aren’t ready to do that yet.

As you’ve suggested it highlights a historic failing of our education system where for many of us, First Nations people were vilified rather than celebrated

Great pod.

Only point I’d disagree with is the consensus around CJ v Harry M. Harry is a great role player but CJ has the potential to be a difference maker in a final. CJ is a line breaker and the more we have in the team, the more nervous an opposition team is.

We’ll go far on the strength of our bottom six and if CJ is part of that group we’re in better shape.

Finn is the correct choice with Daysie out. Ward comes in when/if Jai or Worps is out. Horses for courses.

Does anyone know what a Confrère’s membership costs? Just curious, not ready to buy one…yet!
