Definitely was great to see the like of Spida there. He was with us during a rough time when we had a very average team and to be honest he was one of a few players that represented us really well in the mid 2000s. He led the league in hit outs in 2004 and 2005, he was the best ruckman in the the comp for a few years.
Surely HFC will have the best defence in 2025! Sicily off the chain spells danger for every oppo and I look forward to seeing him on the loose. Weddle has the same potential. Both nightmares for oppo’s if on the loose. Surely Scrimshaw & Battle can cover for Sicily and Weddle, both read the ball well and very fit. Barrass will mark everything and break a few backs in the process (hopefully not anyone from HFC). He skittles everyone!!!!! Frosty was a rock in 2024, a pity he missed the Port final :(
