By now there isn’t a Hawthorn supporter that hasn’t heard, and been enraged, by news of our captain James Sicily’s three game suspension for his dangerous tackle on Hugh McCluggage.
A tackle that earned him a free kick for holding the ball.
Did we say Hawthorn supporters are enraged? It seems as though the whole footy world has been united behind the injustice at the sentence — who would have thought that sympathy and empathy from outside our club towards Sic would ever have been a thing?
