Following the disappointment of the Gold Coast game and Sam Mitchell’s post-match press conference, the eyes of the footy world were on the Hawks early this week. This lead to a larger than normal crowd at Bunjil Bagora for the main training session earlier today.
The early indications of the session looked good as the vast majority of the group came down together, while resident DJ, Changkouth Jiath, had the music going and going hard. There was plenty of chat amongst the players and coaches compared to the usual vibe, which is more one to one chats as the players wander down the steps and on to the track.

Luke Breust and Ned Reeves were in standard training gear (always a good sign) and were part of the rehab group. They were joined by Will McCabe and Josh Bennetts who were in training singlets (not as positive).Â
