ASHLEY BROWNE has some notes and observations about the Grand Final as viewed through a brown-and-gold lens.

1.  Shame there is no right of challenge in footy

Hawthorn was one of just two teams to beat both Collingwood and Brisbane this year. Melbourne was the other. Actually, on second thoughts, perhaps not. Both the Pies and Lions were significantly better by the end of the season than when they ran into the Hawks.
