With the home and away season done and dusted, it is time to reflect on the concept that Rob McCartney brought to the attention of Hawks Insiders in his pre-season chat with Danny and Andrew.

Hanging on every word.

The concept being that there were 529 games (adopted as “Rule 529”) in the season i.e. 23 players across 23 rounds that the club had to allocate across the playing list.
