Good chat guys albeit shorter than expected with the boss in charge who per usual brings a technical glitch to podcast!

On the first goal, given that it was a structural breakdown, which is repairable, the start wasn't as bad as some saw it - I'd suggest the scars from the Port game hadn't quite healed.

On D'Ambrosio - I thought he played a strong game in contested possessions and metres gained for the team. Like lefties in many sports eg. left handed bats in cricket, they get looked at through the "leftie lens", which gives them "elegance" points as against "effectiveness/impact". His kicking efficiency was 65% and when you look at the type of kicks he currently takes, it should be higher. He's not taking the "death & glory" kicks that Amon and Sicily take on. His shots at goal this season haven't been near misses this year either.

(Note: For an "ugly" left footer, I have to go back to an era before most HIs were born and that would be Des Meagher.)

On Meek going off, this happened with 8 mins to go in the 3rd quarter, when were 9 points in front. He came back on after the Gunston goal with a minute to go in the quarter. In this time, we kicked 1.2 to 1.3 with the Siciiy over the shoulder free to Daniher being their goal. Nash's role was really important as a "disruptor" in this period.

Love this format sort of a hybrid last years and this. Good to go through more of the players and dissect them a bit.

A guess we need more thinking about Amon?
