Just two mates, at a bar, revelling in the joy of a win

That’s two wins from our last three games… and suddenly things are nowhere near as bad as they seemed a few weeks back.

And what a fun day it was watching some of our young kids grow before our eyes, with some of our elder statesmen really stepping up.

So there was no better place to record our review pod than with a nice cold bevvy at the bar inside Marvel Stadium. Listen to Danny Prins and Andrew Weiss as they take you through the highs and lows from the win against the dogs including:

  • Panic in the stands three minutes in;

  • The incredible pressure applied in the contest all day;

  • Our rolling zone and solid defensive structure;

  • Lloyd, Calsher, Jarman and Dylan;

  • The captain standing up after a horrific looking injury earlier;

  • And so much more - most of it discussed while smiling.

We appreciate your support here at Hawks Insiders, and as important as that we love your contribution. Let us know if we’re on the money, or if we missed something glaringly obvious!

Ever get the feeling you know more about the Mighty Hawks than the people paid to write, think and talk about footy on a daily basis?
Imagine a space in which the impassioned conversations you’re having on message boards, WhatsApp groups or private social pages are explored in greater detail by people in the know.
We’ll be delivering considered Hawthorn Footy Club content straight to your inbox and podcast providers, centred around topics that reflect what true Hawks supporters are talking about, not lazy mainstream media narratives that are just so easy to debunk.
