Well well, who saw this one coming? The Hawks followed up a convincing win against Premiership favourites Collingwood with a nail-biting 3 point win over the finals chasing Western Bulldogs at UTAS Stadium.

Insiders hosts Danny and Darren broke down the impressive performance player by player, and focus on some of the many positives, including:

  • Jai Newcombe’s career game in his 50th AFL appearance;

  • The excitement and ability to break open games that Will Day brings;

  • The midfield combination of James Worpel, the aforementioned Newcombe and Day and Conor Nash;

  • Ned Reeves’ recent performances as first ruck;

  • Jacob Koschitzke’s breakout performance and his 5 contested marks;

  • The continued emergence of Josh Ward, Connor Macdonald, Josh Weddle and Bailey Macdonald;

  • and plenty, plenty more…

Plenty to smile about this weekend
