Before we look ahead to the 2022 draft, we’re casting our minds back a full year to the draft that netted the Hawks some key pieces of their present and their future.

Hawthorn went into the 2021 draft armed with picks 7, 23 26, and 53 (after bids) and came out with Josh Ward, Sam Butler, Connor Macdonald, and Jai Serong, who all went on to play senior football in their debut campaigns.
