Many of us have imagined ourselves in the backyard or local park, lining up for a shot after the siren with the scores tied — needing either a (Dixon) goal or a (Lockett) point to win the game and send our team over the line under pressure. The only thing we couldn’t replicate? Missing the space between the point posts!

However, if the scoreboard had us four points down with the same kick to take the chocolates, then we’d have to hit the space between the big sticks rather the entire goal space to become the legend in our own backyard.
